“Ostschweizer” Fondue

A special treat from eastern Switzerland!
Ingredients
♣ 1 clove of garlic
♣ 3 dl of apple wine
♣ 1 teasp. of freshly squeezed lemon juice
♣ 400 g of Swiss Tilsit (red label)
♣ 400 g of Appenzeller, grated
♣ 4 tea spoons of corn starch
♣ 1 shot of Calvados
♣ pepper, nutmeg
Instructions
Fondue “Ostschweiz” is from the eastern part of Switzerland.
Rub the caquelon with the garlic clove.
Mix the Appenzeller and Tilsiter cheese with the corn starch and add the apple wine and lemon juice.
Continually stir while heating up. Add the Calvados, pepper and nutmeg, bring to boiling point briefly and serve instantly.
