Ingredients

♣ 500 g shrimp tails
♣ 1-2 scallions, finely chopped
♣ 1 + 2 cloves of garlic
♣ butter
♣ 250 ml White Wine or Champagne
♣ 400 g Fontina cheese, shredded
♣ 200 g Gruyère cheese, shredded
♣ 1 tbsp of cornstarch
♣ 1 tbsp of lemon juice
♣ fresh ground pepper & salt

Instructions

Fondue “Cheeeesy Shrimps”
Rinse the shrimps.
Into boiling water add 2 cloves of garlic, salt, pepper and shrimps. After the water boils, let shrimps cook for 2-5 mins (may depend on the size of shrimps).Peel shrimps and then run them under cold water to rinse them off. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
Roast gently scallions with butter over medium high heat for 2 mis.
Lower heat to medium and put flour, garlic, salt, pepper, white wine or Champagne and cook for 1-2 minutes until alcohol burns off and flour cooks up for a bit.
Now add cheesex and stir with whisk so it starts to melt, add lemon juice. Cook to the correct thickness.
You may add shrimps and serve them  already in Fondue or just dip them instead/with a peace of bread!
Tipp 😉
The fondue is fully cooked when it is thick enough to coat the back of a wooden spoon – if it is too thick add more wine and continue to stir.
Serve with crusty French bread & Campagne 😉
